High dust separation is achieved by 2 Tier Radial™ cyclones, Dyson’s latest evolution of Radial Root Cyclone™ technology. 24 inner cyclones work in parallel, increasing airflow and generating high G-forces to capture more dust and microscopic allergens. Dyson engineers have also made many iterative changes to reduce sound levels and improve sound quality.

Fine dust, pollen and allergens are attracted to hard floors by static. DC63 has our latest carbon fibre cleaner head technology to enable higher pick-up across all floors. It has rows of both ultra-fine, anti-static carbon fibre brushes to remove fine dust from hard floors and nylon brushes to remove ground-in dirt from carpets and tatami.

Dyson Ball™ vacuums are engineered to steer easily around furniture and other obstacles in your home. The ball turns on the spot, giving the vacuum a tight turning circle. The ball also holds the heaviest components, such as the motor. This lowers the centre of gravity of the machine, improving stability.

Acoustics are at the heart of the Dyson design process. Improvements have been made to the ball, cyclones and floor tools to reduce sound levels and improve sound quality. Sound absorbent felt absorbs high-frequency noise from the motor. The small size and power density of the Dyson digital motor V4 made these changes possible.

The motor containment shell completely encases the motor, helping to contain sound. Vibration isolation mounts ensure that less noise is transmitted.

DC63 permanently captures particles down to 0.3 microns in size, expelling air that’s cleaner than the room’s ambient air. Its 2 Tier Radial™ cyclones separate microscopic particles such as pollen, mould spores and bacteria from the airflow. With efficient filtration, and seals engineered to be airtight, all the air that exits the machine is HEPA level. This makes DC63 ideal for allergy sufferers.

The new Carbon fibre soft dusting brush has ultra-fine carbon fibre filaments to improve pick-up of fine dust from hard surfaces. Its thin profile fits into small crevices and an angled handle makes it easier to use.

Dyson engineers relooked both the design and materials of the new Carbon fibre soft dusting brush. A curtain of over a thousand ultra-fine carbon fibre bristles gently dislodges fine dust from delicate surfaces and the velour bumper helps to protect against scratching. The brush bar moves depending on the direction of your sweep, maximising suction at the bristles.

The Reach under tool is a completely redesigned flexi-crevice tool. Its paddle-shaped profile, robust bristles and flexible construction enable dust and dirt removal from the most hard-to-reach parts of your home – quickly and effectively.

Every inch has been re-looked for maximum practicality and dirt removal. The new bristles are arranged in a chevron shape to channel dust into the inlet suction holes. It twists, with a cuff that rotates the paddle 90 degrees. And it also flexes to assist in cleaning tight, inaccessible spaces.
